Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the MapleAI API service (the "Service") operated by MapleAI ("us", "we", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
MapleAI provides an API gateway that routes your requests to various third-party AI model providers, including OpenRouter, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, and xAI. We act as an intermediary and do not train or operate the AI models themselves.
To use the Service, you must create an account with a username and password. By creating an account, you agree to the following:
You agree not to share your API keys with third parties. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Maple reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to delete (rather than merely ban) any account at any moment without any prior notice or liability.
You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
You are responsible for all content you generate through the Service. You agree not to use the Service to:
Generate Illegal Content: Including content that promotes terrorism, violence, or illegal activities.
Create Harmful Content: Including harassment, hate speech, or content that discriminates against individuals or groups.
Produce CSAM: Any generation of Child Sexual Abuse Material will result in immediate termination and reporting to law enforcement.
Violate Privacy: Including sharing personal information without consent or attempting to identify individuals from AI outputs.
Engage in Fraud: Including phishing, scams, or generating deceptive content intended to harm others.
Abuse the Service: Including attempting to bypass rate limits, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with other users' access.
No Guarantees: AI-generated content may be inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any output.
Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and appropriately using any content generated through the Service.
Third-Party Policies: Your use of AI models is also subject to the terms and policies of the underlying providers (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, etc.).
Free Tier: We offer a free tier with limited request quotas.
Paid Plans: Paid subscriptions provide higher rate limits and access to additional models. Plans are billed monthly.
Payment Methods: We accept payments via Stripe (credit/debit cards), PayPal, and cryptocurrency (via CryptAPI).
Billing: Stripe subscriptions renew automatically. PayPal and cryptocurrency payments are one-time purchases valid for 30 days.
No Refunds: All payments are final. We do not offer refunds for subscription fees or unused portions of your plan. However, you may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges.
No Downgrades: You cannot downgrade to a lower tier plan. You may only upgrade to a higher tier.
Each plan has specific rate limits (requests per minute and requests per day). Exceeding these limits will result in temporary throttling of your API access. Repeated or intentional abuse may result in account suspension.

Your Content: You retain ownership of the prompts you submit and any original content you create using the Service.
AI Output: Ownership of AI-generated content is subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers. We make no claims to content generated through our Service.
Our Service: The MapleAI name, logo, and website design are our property and may not be used without permission.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including:
You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your access will be revoked and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAPLEAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MapleAI from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
This section applies only to the MapleBot Discord bot and is completely separate from the MapleAI API service.
MapleBot is a Discord bot that allows users to interact with AI models directly in Discord. By using MapleBot, you agree to the following additional terms:
Unlike the MapleAI API, MapleBot stores conversation data. When you use MapleBot, we collect and store:
Conversation data is stored on our servers to enable persistent conversations across sessions. This data is stored indefinitely unless you request deletion or use the reset commands.
You can delete your conversation history at any time by using the bot's reset commands. To request complete deletion of all your data, contact us at [email protected] with your Discord User ID.
We maintain a list of banned Discord User IDs and Server IDs. If you violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, your Discord ID may be added to the ban list, preventing you from using MapleBot.
MapleBot is a separate service from the MapleAI API. Using MapleBot does not require a MapleAI API account, and vice versa. The data handling practices are different between the two services.
